BELFAST CONFERENCE ( December 2016 )
A free, one-day Erasmus+ conference on Tuesday 13th December from 09:30, took place at Queen’s University Belfast.
The conference was an event, organized as part of an Erasmus+ schools partnership
that included participants from France, Germany, Italy, Austria and Greece.
At the event, we have learned about the following in three Sessions:
1. Our iDEAL project and the valuable skills, experiences and qualifications students and staff have gained. The event Has also showed case project work, with representatives of all six schools participating
2. We have found out how simple it can be with eTwinning to get partners, develop projects quickly in the classroom and join a
learning community leading onto how to apply for funding for larger projects through the Erasmus+ programme
3. iTeach – Northern Ireland’s leading iPad training and consultative company, has shared how they have supported our project and how EU funds can be used for whole school iPad Staff Development. iTeach has also given free training to attendees on the use of the latest digital strategies and Apps in learning and teaching.
